2016-2017 Acura ILX Replacement Air Filter Lasts Up to 50,000 Miles Between Cleanings

The success of Acura’s first flagship model, the Legend, encouraged fellow Japanese automobile manufacturers Toyota and Nissan to launch their own luxury marques –- Lexus and Infiniti, respectively. The ILX is an entry-level 4-door luxury sedan that debuted in April 2012 and is based on the ninth-generation Honda Civic sedan. The vehicle was refreshed in 2016 and features an “Earth Dreams” direct injected 2.4-liter four-cylinder DOHC i-VTEC engine integrated with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The vehicle also included LED headlamps, Day Time Running Lamps (DRL pipe and amber turn signals and new LED tail lamps. There are also a number of safety features available including a blind-spot warning system, rear-cross traffic alerts, lane keeping assist, forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control and multi-view back-up camera.
