Add 17+ Horsepower to Dodge Durango with K&N FIPK Air Intake

The Dodge Durango 5.7 L V8 is a mid-sized SUV that can tow up to 8950 pounds with the optional 3.92 rear axle. The engine sits farther back in a more rigid chassis, resulting in better balance.

By replacing the Durango factory air intake assembly with K&N Engineering's 57-Series FIPK (57-1539), your engine will get more air with less restriction. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range.

Dynamometer tests at K&N Engineering's lab indicate that owners should see a 17.5 horsepower gain at 5053 RPMs for the 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 Dodge Durango 5.7 liter V8. Function and looks were part of K&N's development process for the 57-Series FIPK (57-1539) rotationally molded polyethylene intake.

"We were able to get excellent horsepower with this intake," said K&N Performance Kit Manager Bert Heck. "It's easy to reach and installation is very straight forward."

The FIPK (57-1539) uses K&N's high-flow, washable and reusable air filter (RF-1041) which performs up to 100,000 miles before service is required (depending on driving conditions). FIPK air intakes also come with the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
