Add Good Looks and 7+ HP to 2006 Ford F150 with K&N High Flow Air Intake

The kit was designed by K&N Engineers to improve airflow to the engine. Testing on K&N's dynamometer showed a 7.68 horsepower gain @ 4775 RPM. The mandrel-bent, free flowing polished aluminum tube mounts to the throttle body then goes over the fender well placing the K&N Air Filter in a position away from engine heat.

The attached K&N Universal Air Filter (RF-1041) provides optimal air flow and is backed by K&N's Famous Million Mile Warranty. A black powdercoated steel heatshield isolates the filter from heat that amasses under the hood to supply the engine with cool dense air.

The 77 Series polished intake tube is equipped with stainless-steel hose clamps which secure parts to one another. Black powdercoated steel brackets add additional support. "The polished tube is a great look," said K&N Technical Development Supervisor Kirk Swanson. "77-2569KP adds a custom design to the engine compartment."

Installation is simple and can be done without drilling or cutting. Each K&N 77-Series Air Intake comes complete with all the necessary hardware, including die-cast aluminum sensor adapters.
