Add More Power to 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee with K&N

Jeep's redesigned 2005 Grand Cherokee 3.7 liter V6 produces more peak power than the 4.0 liter l-6 engine it replaced, while producing comparable torque. The engine was first introduced on Jeep Liberty and Dodge Ram models, and shares many design features with the 4.7 liter Power Tech V8 engine.

K&N Engineering has designed a new Generation II 57-Series Fuel Injection Performance Kit (57-1545) that will add power to the 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.7L V6.

Dyno-testing revealed that this K&N FIPK (57-1545) added 7.35 horsepower at 5132 RPM. By replacing the restrictive factory airbox your engine will get more air with less restriction.

"This is a great power gain for a 3.7 liter motor," said K&N Performance Kit Manager Bert Heck. "More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range."

K&N began with one of its famous Replacement Air Filters (RF-1048). The Air Filter can be washed and re-oiled with a K&N cleaning kit.

The K&N filter attaches to an aerodynamically designed intake tube that's made of rotationally molded polyethylene. This allows the free-flowing tube to be routed for minimal turbulence and also helps keep engine compartment heat out.

Installation is easily completed for this FIPK (57-1545) in 90 minutes or less with simple hand tools. No drilling is required, and the 57-Series includes illustrated instructions as well as all the necessary mounting hardware. It also comes with K&N's famous Million Mile Limited Warranty.
