Add More than 18 HP for Hummer H3, GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado with K&N

The GMC Canyon, Hummer H3 and Chevrolet Colorado have several things and common. The mid-size 2006 Hummer H3 was derived from the Canyon and Colorado pickups and shares the truck body on frame construction and 3.5 liter DOHC 20 valve all aluminum inline five-cylinder Vortec engine.

K&N Engineering has developed a new 57-series Fuel Injection Performance Kit (57-3043) that will add a bigger punch to the vehicles. K&N tests have shown an 18.57 horsepower gain at 6001 RPM with this rotationally molded polyethylene intake.

By replacing the Canyon, Hummer and Colorado's factory air intake assembly with K&N's 57-Series Fuel Injection Performance Kit (57-3043) the engine gets cool, dense air with less restriction. The FIPK uses K&N's high-flow, washable and reusable air filter (RF-1048) which performs up to 100,000 miles before service is required (depending on driving conditions).

"This Air Intake provides a lot more power," said K&N Performance Kit Manager Bert Heck. "18 + is an excellent gain, and will make a difference in performance whether you 4X4 or city drive."

K&N's FIPK (57-3043) can be installed in 90 minutes or less with simple hand tolls and lasts up to 100,000 miles before service is required (depending on driving conditions). It also comes with the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.

K&N Applications for 57-3043 are: 2006 Hummer H3 3.5L L52005, GMC Canyon 3.5L L52005, Chevrolet Colorado 3.5L L5, 2004 GMC Canyon 3.5L L5 and the 2004 Chevrolet Colorado 3.5L L5.
