Add Power to the 2005 to 2009 Mustang V-6 with K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit

The 2005 to 2009 Mustang V-6 is powered by a 4.0-liter, 60 degree, single-overhead-cam-engine. Many of the advanced technologies used on the V-8 are incorporated in the V-6.

Those opting for the V-6 model already have 202 horsepower form the 4.0. However, the power on the V-6 does not have to stop there.

K&N Engineering's Generation II 57-Series Fuel Injection Performance Kit (57-2566) replaces the factory air box, filter and intake tube. The result is more horsepower. K&N's dynamometer shows a 7.54 horsepower gain at 4996 RPM.

"The tube was squeezed down to keep the mass air happy," said K&N Performance Kit Manager Bert Heck. "We kept the car's computer within its operating perimeters for more horsepower." With the addition of the 57-Series FIPK the Mustang's engine inhales a larger volume of air than the OEM air filter assembly.

K&N's FIPK (57-2566) can be installed in 90 minutes or less with simple hand tools and lasts up to 100,000 miles before service is required (depending on driving conditions).  Find K&N products for your vehicle using the K&N application search then use the K&N dealer search to find a K&N dealer in your part of the world.
