This Typhoon® System 69-8002TS was designed for the 2004, 2005 and 2006 2.5-Liter Subaru Forester H4 Turbo engine, and provides additional horsepower over the factory installed air intake, making your hot Subaru even hotter. With an estimated gain of 17.7 horsepower @ 5484 RPM, you can be assured performance is only a push of the throttle away.
If you're into competition of any kind, or just load your Forrester XT with kids and cargo, this K&N Typhoon System will provide a noticeable difference in performance. The heart of this intake system is the K&N High-Flow Air Filter, made of four layers of high quality cotton gauze, sandwiched between epoxy-coated aluminum wire mesh and treated with specially formulated oil to trap and hold dirt and debris. It virtually eliminates intake tract restriction, and is a reusable filter that will last up to 100,000 miles between cleanings, depending on your driving conditions.
Engineered on the K&N in-house dyno, this Subaru Forrester XT Typhoon® Kit has been fine-tuned for maximum airflow and ease of installation, usually in 90-minutes or less. Available in a multitude of high quality the Typhoon® System is covered by the K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty®, and DryChargers® are available on Cold-Air applications.
