The British Autograss Championship is held over 5 rounds throughout the UK on grass and mud oval tracks. Nearly 600 registered competitors compete in 12 classes in specially prepared saloon cars and purpose-built specials. Points are awarded which count toward final championship places.

Lynn Cooper, Phil Cooper’s mother, also completed a good year for the team and finished 5th in class nine. The Cooper Motorsport Team uses K&N’s Custom Air Filter Kit (56-9188-1) on its team cars.

“We have used K&N Products for many years,” said Mal Cooper of Cooper Motorsports. “K&N Filters offer the best filtration for our engines. I foolishly tried another make of filter and they were nowhere near as good as K&N. When you have 8 or 10 of these specials racing on a dusty or muddy track it is essential to stop the dirt from entering the inlet track. K&N has the products that we can rely on so our very expensive machinery is not damaged.”
