K&N Improves On History With Air Intake for the Dodge Magnum, Challenger, Charger and Chrysler 300C

RIVERSIDE, CA - HEMI! That name has gone down in automotive history as one of the highest points of V8 performance engine design. But K&N Engineering has just taken the notorious Hemi to the next level with their all-new Typhoon® High-Flow Intake System for the 2005 to 2008 Magnum, 2008 to 2015 Dodge Challenger, 2006 to 2015 Dodge Charger and the 2006 to 2015 Chrysler 300C. Extensive testing on the K&N in-house dyno showed more horsepower was available and this high-flow intake kit (# 69-2526TP) provides it! Testing done on a 2011 Dodge Charger with the 5.7 liter V8 engine showed an estimated gain of 11.6 horsepower @ 4854 RPM and 11.5 lb-ft of torque at 4616 RPM. The Typhoon® System virtually eliminates intake air restriction by replacing the factory air filtration system, creating a clear path for ducting cool air to the engine.

Equipped with an original K&N High Flow Air Filter, made of four layers of high quality cotton gauze, sandwiched between epoxy-coated aluminum wire mesh, and treated with specially formulated oil the Magnum Typhoon Kit won't just improved performance. K&N built their reputation on a balance of performance and engine protective filtration and with 35 years as a leader, K&N is the brand to trust. The filter is washable and reusable, and provides up to 100,000 miles between cleanings, depending on your driving conditions. The Typhoon® High-Flow Intake Kit is a simple, inexpensive way to add noticeable horsepower and installation is simple, even for the novice performance buff.

As with all K&N Typhoon High-Flow Intake Kits, this kit is covered by their K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty®. All tubing is mandrel-bent 6063 aluminum in high-quality finishes and comes with stainless steel hardware to long-lasting quality.
